Fleita Rafa, was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 1958, his musical beginnings date back to the young age of 16 years, where he becomes familiar with the guitar. He began his professional debut as a singer in the auditorium of the University of La Laguna in Tenerife in 1980, sharing the stage with singer-songwriter Pedro Guerra and others on the island. Just returned from Badajoz, where he has lived for nine months.

He has collaborated with artists like the poet, Rafael Piedehierro, Manuel Mata Gil, during his stay in Badajoz.

Although musician, has always liked the "other side" of art as painting, sculpture and photography, is for this reason that part of Artel.

He admires the work of Maria Rosario Cañas, since he knows some of his work and that is a personal friend.
